INFORMATION FOR NEW PATIENTS
Dr. Motria Huk can offer a comprehensive evaluation of your mental health struggles. She can provide psychotherapy as well as assessment for and management of medication treatment (if appropriate). Sometimes seeing the same clinician for both therapy and medications provides the best outcome.
If what you need is not in her realm of expertise, she will help direct you to appropriate treatment.
If you have a therapist, Dr. Huk will need to make sure she already has a collaborative working relationship with this clinician or that one can be established.
Dr. Huk specializes in the psychiatric treatment of adults ages 18 and above.
In this practice setting, Dr. Huk does not treat people with active substance abuse struggles or active eating disorders; these issues are most successfully treated in other treatment settings.
In this practice location Dr. Huk is not a contracted provider for any insurance companies and cannot accept direct payment from the insurance company. Choosing to receive your mental health care without involving your insurance company can remove constraints on treatment and offers an additional layer of confidentiality.
If you have an insurance policy that offers out-of-network benefits and you choose to use this,
Dr. Huk's office will provide you with a statement that you can submit for reimbursement. Please contact your insurance company directly to clarify the details of your mental health coverage.
Please call Dr. Huk’s administrative assistant at 617-934-5096 ext 1 to inquire further about services.
